Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Transportation Management Logistics Planning Lead to oversee the operational execution for one or more business units. The role includes guiding TM Coordinators, collaborating on process improvements, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Travel may be required to meet client needs and project requirements. The successful candidate will have a BA/BS and 3–4 years in transportation, with strong communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities to drive operational

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• 3–4 years of transportation industry experience or equivalent demonstrated acumen.

Responsibilities

• Daily operational point-of-contact for internal NFI divisions and clients.
• Provide guidance and training to TM Coordinators, Sr Coordinators and Executives/Specialists.
• Initiate continuous improvement strategies to improve internal and external operations.
• May manage a team of TM coordinators and facilitate daily operational activities to service the customer.
• Collaborate with management to create customer-specific SOPs including shipment activity, routing guides, exception resolution and scheduling.
• Offer best practices through knowledge of the supply chain and customer network.
• Identify opportunities to connect customers to other NFI divisions to drive value.
• Support quarterly business reviews with customers using multiple presentation methods.
• Maintain and update internal/external SOP documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and growth of existing business.
