Prince George's County Government is seeking a Transit Fleet Manager to oversee maintenance compliance, fleet performance, and asset management for the County’s transit fleet. You will advise the Section Chief on fleet condition, risk management, and modernization initiatives, collaborating with staff, contractors, and stakeholders to sustain safe, reliable operations.

• Master's degree in business or public administration or closely related field.
• 3+ years' professional planning/program development experience with at least 1 year in lead/supervisory role.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in transit fleet maintenance, fleet management, asset management, or transport operations.
• Knowledge of federal/state transportation regulations and preventive maintenance standards.
• Experience administering contracts and monitoring vendor performance.
• Familiarity with fleet procurement, lifecycle cost analysis, and warranty administration.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare performance reports.
• Ability to lead staff, coordinate inspection teams, and build relationships.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee fleet maintenance compliance with DOT/FTA/OSHA and state/local rules.
• Lead PMI audits and supervise third-party inspectors.
• Identify maintenance deficiencies and drive corrective action.
• Coordinate with Safety, Operations, and Risk Management on fleet safety.
