Job summary

Prince George's County Government seeks a Transit Fleet Compliance & Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance compliance, fleet performance, and modernization efforts for the county’s transit assets. You will advise the Section Chief on fleet condition, regulatory requirements, and contractor performance, coordinating with Safety, Operations, and Risk Management.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in specified fields.
• At least 3 years of professional planning/program development with at least 1 year of lead/supervisory experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet maintenance and regulatory compliance with DOT/FTA/OSHA and state/local regs.
• Lead long-range fleet replacement planning and asset management activities.
• Manage contract administration and contractor oversight; enforce contract requirements.
• Establish KPIs, validate maintenance data, and prepare regular management reports.
