Job summary

Reworld Waste seeks a Technical Training Senior Director to design, plan, and implement a comprehensive, organization-wide technical training program. This leader will build structured on-the-job training for leaders and trainers, interfacing with senior stakeholders and securing resources to execute a scalable strategy.

The role leads a team delivering standardized training across Waste to Energy, Transfer Stations, and Environmental Solutions, starting with Safety, and advancing workforce

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience creating technical training and leading a team of technical trainers in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science or Education/Development.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of manufacturing principles and techniques as well as various techniques for training both technical and non-technical subjects.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak in large group settings.
• LEAN methodologies to determine root causes and address problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational support for curricula development; develop site training capabilities using train-the-trainer approach.
• Monitor learning maturity and improve training systems and programs; coordinate with enterprise resources for alignment and just-in-time training.
• Lead a team of training and knowledge management professionals.
• Serve as business process owner for all technical training including technician level qualifications.
• Ensure training is compliant with applicable regulations and safety standards.
• Develop innovative, immersive training methodologies to accelerate knowledge transfer.
• Ensure learning objectives are linked to business outcomes with measurable criteria.
