Job summary

Reworld Waste seeks a Technical Training Senior Director to design and implement an enterprise-wide training program. Lead a team of trainers, build structured on-the-job training, and collaborate with senior leaders to secure resources for execution.

Drive immersive, standardized curricula across Waste to Energy, Transfer Stations, Environmental Solutions and Profiled Waste operations. The role enables knowledge transfer, aligns with regulatory requirements, and accelerates employee development

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience creating technical training and leading a team in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science or Education/Development.
• Experience in manufacturing with training techniques for technical and non-technical subjects.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for large group settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration ability.
• Ability to apply LEAN methodologies to problem solving.
• Ability to implement training programs with site objectives in mind.
• Strategic planning skills to prepare the organization for future demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide curricula development support and train-the-trainer site capabilities.
• Monitor learning maturity and drive continuous improvement of training systems.
• Lead a team of training and knowledge management colleagues.
• Own technical training for operations and maintenance technicians.
• Maintain compliant, safe, and standardized role-based training infrastructure.
• Develop immersive training methods and measurable learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional site leaders on content.
• Develop and update training materials and job aids.
• Oversee LMS, reporting, and annual license renewals.
• Support regional training specialists and project-based training initiatives.
