Job summary

Reworld Waste in the United States is seeking a Technical Training Senior Director to design, plan and implement an organization-wide strategic technical training program, including a comprehensive on-the-job training system deployed to department leaders and trainers across the fleet.

You will lead a team of training professionals, collaborate with senior leaders and process owners, develop curricula for Waste to Energy, Transfer Stations, Environmental Solutions and Profiled Waste, and ensure

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience creating technical training and leading a team of technical trainers in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science or Education/Development.
• Experience in manufacturing with knowledge of training for both technical and non-technical subjects.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for large group settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
• LEAN methodologies to determine root causes and develop plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop curricula and site training capabilities using a train-the-trainer approach.
• Monitor learning maturity and continuously improve training systems and programs.
• Leads a team of colleagues with responsibility for training and knowledge management.
• Serves as the business process owner for all technical training including technician level qualification training.
• Maintains training infrastructure that ensures safe and standardized, regulatory-compliant training.
• Creates innovative, immersive training methodologies enabling accelerated knowledge transfer.
• Ensures learning objectives are tied to business outcomes with measurable criteria.
• Develops material and training for plant employees.
• Manage LMS (GPiLEARN+) and related reporting and renewals.
