Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking a Senior Director of Technical Training to architect and lead a company-wide training program supporting Waste to Energy, Transfer Stations, Environmental Solutions and Profiled Waste.

The role leads a team of trainers, partners with senior leaders, and ensures compliant, just-in-time learning across the fleet, starting with safety and progressing to technical and regulatory training aligned to business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience creating technical training and leading a training team in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science or Education/Development.
• Experience with LEAN methodologies to identify root causes and improvements.
• Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to present to large groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of an enterprise-wide technical training program.
• Manage curricula development and train-the-trainer site capabilities.
• Oversee LMS usage, reporting, and annual license renewal processes.
• Coordinate training content with SMEs and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and update training materials for safety, operations and maintenance.
• Mentor training colleagues and drive cross-site consistency.
