Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to act as the principal technical advisor for National Security customers, guiding architecture, operations, and security decisions. You will craft and execute adoption strategies and maintain strong customer relationships.

You will lead discussions with senior leadership, coordinate with Solutions Architects, monitor operational health, and advocate for customers across AWS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or security certifications (CASP+/CCSP/Cloud+/CSSLP) are required.
• 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical advisor for National Security customers across architecture, operations, and security.
• Craft strategies to drive adoption and optimization of AWS services.
• Lead discussions with senior customer leadership on incidents, trade-offs, risk management, and operational health.
• Proactively monitor and maintain operational health of customer AWS environments.
• Build deep relationships with customer teams to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Advocate for customers with AWS service and support teams as the voice of the customer.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Support Engineers to resolve complex challenges.
