Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technical Account Manager to serve as the principal technical advisor for National Security customers. You will craft strategies to drive adoption of AWS services and collaborate with senior leadership on incidents, risk, and health.

The role requires a TS/SCI with Poly clearance and travel of 10%+; you will build trusted relationships with customer teams and advocate for their needs across AWS services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of technical work experience
• 2+ years of technical engineering experience
• Experience in information technology operations
• Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders across teams
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for Enterprise customers

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal technical advisor for National Security customers, providing proactive guidance on AWS best practices across architecture, operations, and security
• Craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and optimization of AWS services
• Drive discussions with senior customer leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, risk management, and operational health
• Proactively monitor and maintain the operational health of customer AWS environments, identifying risks before they become issues
• Build deep, trusted relationships with customer technical teams and leadership to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions
• Advocate internally on behalf of customers, acting as the "voice of the customer" to AWS service and support teams
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Support Engineers, and Service Teams to resolve complex technical challenges
