Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to support National Security customers across AWS technologies. You will act as a strategic technical advisor, building trusted relationships with senior leadership and driving adoption and operational health of AWS environments.

The role requires travel of 10% or more and a US Citizen with TS/SCI clearance. You will collaborate with Solutions Architects, Support Engineers, and Service Teams to deliver tailored cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 2+ years of technical work experience.
• 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
• Experience informational technology operations.
• Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Serve as the primary technical advisor for our Enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal technical advisor for National Security customers, providing proactive guidance on AWS best practices across architecture, operations, and security.
• Craft and execute strategies to drive customer adoption and optimization of AWS services.
• Drive discussions with senior customer leadership regarding incidents, trade-offs, risk management, and operational health.
• Proactively monitor and maintain the operational health of customer AWS environments, identifying risks before they become issues.
• Build deep, trusted relationships with customer technical teams and leadership to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Advocate internally on behalf of customers, acting as the 'voice of the customer' to AWS service and support teams.
• Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Support Engineers, and Service Teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
