Job summary

TriNet is seeking a Sales Consultant (Technology) in Dublin, CA to drive new business for our SMB segment. You will prospect, present TriNet's HR solutions, including benefits, payroll, and HR services, to 5-99 employee companies, and manage opportunities through a structured sales cycle.

You will build your book of business, engage C-level decision makers, and work toward quota with a disciplined sales process using Salesforce and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Typically 3+ years B2B complex sales cycle experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Plan: Develop an annual plan to hit targets in defined territory.
• Prospect: Build a pipeline of target prospects through cold calling, email, phone, LinkedIn, and referrals.
• Qualifying opportunities: Assess fit quickly using understanding of decision makers.
• Value & Consultative Selling: Establish trusted advisor relationships to win and retain clients.
• Sales Process: Manage multi-step selling process with defined criteria and sponsorship.
• Sales tools and systems: Use Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and quoting tools.
• Achieve quota: Meet sales activity metrics to reach targets.
• Complete admin tasks: Perform administrative duties in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate TriNet's core values daily.
• Performs other duties as assigned
