Job summary

Forward Air Corp. is seeking an experienced Talent Management professional to partner with business leaders and HR teams to identify talent opportunities and build enterprise-wide solutions.

The role leads programs across performance, engagement, development, and succession, while shaping organizational design and workforce planning. You will develop onboarding and mentorship initiatives, leveraging HRIS tools (Oracle/Workday/SAP) and analytics (Excel, Power BI/Tableau) to drive executive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or Industrial Psychology, or related field required; Graduate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in HR, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or similar roles.
• Prior experience supporting global HR processes or working in a matrixed, multinational environment preferred.
• Data-Informed storytelling to distill complex HR data into compelling narratives for leadership decisions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influence with a solutions-forward approach.
• Project and process management with ability to drive timelines and deliver high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME to business leaders, including executives, in identifying talent opportunities and developing enterprise-wide solutions.
• Lead strategic program development and optimization of key talent programs (performance, engagement, retention, development, succession).
• Support deployment of the annual review process across assigned client groups and locations.
• Translate talent data into actionable insights to inform leadership decisions and workforce planning.
• Partner with Leaders and HR SMEs on organizational design and span of control assessments.
• Develop and deliver professional development programs for business skills opportunities.
• Create onboarding programs to accelerate cultural assimilation and productivity for diverse employee populations.
• Support mentorship programs and change initiatives with communications partners.
• Travel approximately 40% for meetings, events, and engagements; role is 100% on-site.
