Job summary

VB Spine, LLC is seeking a Principal Recruiter to lead and grow our recruiting team, shaping strategies with HR and business leaders. You will run executive searches, mentor recruiters, and oversee end-to-end hiring while ensuring compliance and candidate confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, organizational leadership, or related field.
• Professional certification in human resources or talent acquisition is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop employees and contract recruiters, setting priorities and allocating resources based on business needs.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to turn workforce plans into recruiting strategies, sourcing plans, and hiring priorities.
• Personally lead executive and business-critical searches, from market mapping and passive candidate outreach through assessment and offer negotiation.
• Advise hiring managers on role requirements, candidate profiles, market conditions, compensation considerations, and selection decisions.
• Oversee full-cycle recruiting, including intake, sourcing, screening, interviews, candidate communication, offers, and hiring handoffs.
• Track open roles, pipeline health, requisition aging, recruiting risks, and team capacity; recommend actions based on the data.
• Improve recruiting processes, tools, metrics, and service standards to strengthen quality, efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder experience.
• Manage third-party search firms, staffing agencies, and recruiting vendors, including performance, contracts, spend, and service expectations.
• Lead the internship program and support campus recruiting, early-career hiring, and internal mobility.
• Ensure recruiting practices are job‑related, equitable, confidential, and compliant with company policies and applicable requirements.
• Protect confidential candidate, employee, compensation, and business information.

Education
