Job summary

Goodwill Houston seeks a Lead Talent Acquisition Partner to drive end-to-end recruitment, partnering with department leaders to fill critical roles and ensure an outstanding candidate experience. You will lead a team of talent professionals, optimize sourcing, manage ATS and onboarding, and collaborate across HR to align hiring with organizational goals.

This exempt, full-time role reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of nonprofit fundraising and events experience.
• Excellent computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Ability to communicate, read, and write in English.
• Valid TX driver's license.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Talent Management to create and execute recruiting strategies, using traditional and innovative methods to attract top talent.
• Oversee the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, resume screening, candidate interview process, and hiring process.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of talent professionals, ensuring performance, compliance, and efficiency.
• Review and analyze daily, interview, and vacancy reports for key hiring metrics to improve processes.
• Ensure all documents, trackers, and forms are properly filed in Paycor, IMIGIT, and SharePoint.
• Manage the team and the daily acquisition tasks.
• Oversee the entire recruitment process within the ATS, including sourcing candidates and referring to hiring managers for interviews.
• Oversee background and pre-employment checks, offer letters, new hire documentation and onboarding.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies in collaboration with hiring managers, analyzing successes and challenges.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with external partners and community staffing initiatives as needed.
• Generate regular recruiting progress reports on hiring and vacancy numbers for all openings.
