Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking an onsite Talent Acquisition Specialist to own full lifecycle recruitment for entry to mid-level roles. You will source candidates, screen, interview, extend offers, and guide new hires through onboarding to ensure smooth placement and strong partnerships with hiring managers.

The role emphasizes building pipelines, coordinating background checks, managing postings in the ATS, and contributing to cost control and ROI through effective sourcing.

Qualifications

• Experience in full-cycle, high-volume recruiting with metrics.
• Proficient in ATS, job boards, and social recruiting.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with managers.

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing, applications, screening, interviewing, and coordinating interviews.
• Coordinate drug tests and background checks; complete references.
• Extend offers and handle related onboarding tasks.
• Build pipelines for critical positions to meet staffing needs.
• Generate leads via networking, job boards, referrals, and events.
• Create and place recruitment ads with approved vendors.
• Post/update openings in the ATS.
• Screen resumes and forward to hiring managers.
• Conduct in-person and phone screenings.
• Assist with background checks and onboarding.
• Research sourcing innovations and align practices with best practices.
• Ensure timely submission of candidates to departments.
• Meet staffing metrics: time-to-fill <30 days, vacancy rate <4%.
• Provide responsive service to candidates, managers, and partners.
• Coordinate handoff to training and hiring manager during onboarding.
• Plan and participate in career events and job fairs.
• Collaborate with HR Director on cost control and ROI innovations.
• Analyze metrics like time-to-fill and cost per hire.
• Track and report key recruitment metrics.
• Support recruitment projects, including Open Enrollment and campaigns.
