Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to onboarding across entry to mid-level roles. You will build strong relationships with hiring managers and community organizations to ensure timely hires and high-quality candidates.

The role emphasizes efficiency in time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and robust candidate pipelines, supporting Goodwill’s mission and agency staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years full-cycle, high volume recruiting and staffing experience with demonstrated success meeting performance metrics
• Advanced computer skills with applicant tracking systems, job boards, internet searches, as well as strong proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and social networking/recruiting media
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
• For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.

Responsibilities

• Review applications, source, screen and assist candidates through the application, interview, offer, pre-employment and onboarding process.
• Develop effective relationships with hiring managers and community referring organizations to facilitate robust and efficient recruiting and placement results.
• Generate a flow of resumes and strong pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and repeat positions.
• Post open positions through the applicant tracking system ensuring postings are updated and current.
• Screens and sends qualified resumes to hiring managers and assist with pre-employment background checks and onboarding activities.
• Maintain timely submission of candidates to hiring managers and support a fast time-to-fill metric.
• Collaborate with HR leadership to track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire.
