Job summary

Columbus McKinnon is seeking an Advisor, Talent Acquisition responsible for executing the company’s recruiting functions, contributing at both hands-on and strategic levels to cultivate quality hires, an emerging talent pool, and employment branding that aligns with the Columbus McKinnon culture and talent needs as the organization grows and scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in recruiting required.

Responsibilities

• Execute staffing strategy and ensure delivery of ongoing talent acquisition processes.
• Develop processes for an efficient, high-touch hiring experience from application to offer.
• Manage requisition process from approval to on-boarding with hiring managers guidance.
• Leverage online sources and in-house ATS to identify and recruit talent.
• Source, interview and recommend candidates for all positions.
• Create and extend offers to potential candidates.
• Provide feedback during interview and selection to influence hiring outcomes.
• Develop employment marketing strategies to attract passive job seekers.
• Collaborate with managers on go-to-market initiatives to build candidate pipelines.
• Write accurate job descriptions and post creatively; maintain SharePoint postings.
• Conduct follow-up meetings to ensure timeliness of recruitment.
• Build data and insights to measure impact of TA processes.
• Proactively source and network to build a targeted candidate pool.
• Maintain relationships with internal partners and external networks.
