Job summary

Voyager Technologies seeks an autonomous Chief Engineer for Strategic Systems to lead end-to-end SRM programs, directing large, cross-functional teams and aligning execution with budget and schedule. The role reports to the Director of Engineering within the Strategic Systems unit, located in Reno, NV, with multiple US site options including Folsom, CA.

The ideal candidate has 15 years in engineering plus 5+ years in technical leadership in solid rocket motors, and must be eligible for U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or other relevant engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of technical leadership in solid rocket motors (SRMs).
• Ability to direct end-to-end lifecycle of the program with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mission success of solid rocket propulsion system programs.
• Manage large multidisciplinary teams and ensure alignment with budget and schedule.
• Maintain liaison with Director of Engineering and Strategic Systems leadership.
