Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking the Chief Engineer for Strategic Systems to lead end-to-end solid rocket motor programs. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, oversee design reviews, and ensure cost and schedule alignment while maintaining technical excellence.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering and supports programs across multiple U.S. sites. A U.S. citizenship is required and a security clearance is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of technical leadership in solid rocket motors (SRMs).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (US Citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Direct the end-to-end technical lifecycle of the program by leading cross-functional teams through design reviews and qualification milestones.
• Lead the engineering team to meet all program milestones by focusing on critical path and resource deconfliction.
• Maintain lean technical scope baselines and monitor cost performance indices to mitigate variances.
• Serve as the primary technical spokesperson for the program and manage internal/external stakeholder relationships.
