Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Chief Engineer for Strategic Systems to lead end-to-end solid rocket propulsion programs. You will manage large multidisciplinary teams, oversee complex systems engineering processes, and align execution with budget and schedule requirements.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering within the Strategic Systems department and is based in Reno, NV, or at other U.S. sites, with remote options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related field with 15 years of engineering experience and 5+ years of technical leadership in solid rocket motors (SRMs).
• Direct end-to-end lifecycle of programs by leading cross-functional teams through design reviews and qualification milestones.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mission success of solid rocket propulsion system programs by managing large multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee complex systems engineering processes and align technical execution with budget and schedule requirements.
• Direct cross-functional teams through design reviews and qualification milestones to ensure producibility and compliance.
