Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer III – Test to lead rocket motor testing activities in support of strategic systems programs.

Based in Reno, NV or Folsom, CA, you will plan, execute, and analyze propulsion and subsystem verification, mentoring junior engineers as needed. The role requires hands-on experience with hot-fire campaigns, test software development, and strong data analysis skills to drive safety and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an engineering field from an accredited university.
• 4–7 years of progressive aerospace/defense test engineering experience.
• Hands-on rocket motor integration and hot-fire test experience.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD and propulsion qualification/acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for rocket motor testing and subsystem verification.
• Lead integration and checkout of propulsion, avionics, and control systems.
• Coordinate pre-test activities: wiring, calibration, verification, DAQ integration.
• Ensure test facilities are configured for hot-fire testing.
• Support Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and safety requirements.
• Analyze test data and provide anomaly resolution recommendations.
• Support HWIL/SWIL test software, hardware integration.
