Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Supplier Sourcing Specialist to support multiple brands and product lines. You will lead supplier negotiations, run RFQ/RFP processes, and partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to secure optimal cost, delivery, and quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, supplier development, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve plant and company targets while adhering to company policies and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of sourcing experience.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word; advanced Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and supplier selection.
• Analyze spend data and supplier performance to identify savings opportunities.
• Manage the RFP process with stakeholders and qualified suppliers.
• Qualify new parts with suppliers and internal teams.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead time, and inventory programs with suppliers.
• Support plants and resolve issues with suppliers to ensure delivery and quality targets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align commodity strategies and localization efforts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in VAVE/MMR events.
