Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a seasoned Sourcing Engineer to support North American compressor sourcing. You will build strong supplier relationships, lead negotiations, and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements across multiple plants and engineering teams.

Responsibilities include leading RFPs, qualifying new parts, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve procurement goals and savings targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' progressive sourcing/related experience.
• 3+ years' experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• 5+ years' experience with vendor negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and supplier selection.
• Analyze spend data and supplier metrics to identify savings opportunities.
• Lead RFP processes with stakeholders and qualify new parts.
• Coordinate with plants, engineering, finance and quality to achieve project benefits.
