Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Sourcing Engineer to support North American compressor product sourcing. You will collaborate with engineering and suppliers to drive cost, quality, and delivery targets while building strong supplier relationships.

This role requires negotiating terms, leading RFQ processes, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver savings and supply assurance across multiple US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in sourcing.
• 3+ years using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and supplier selection.
• Drive cost savings and performance through RFx processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet targets.
• Track supplier performance and implement improvement plans.
• Support plants and local teams to resolve issues.
