Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Sourcing Engineer to support multiple brands and drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements. The role involves leading supplier negotiations, managing RFIs/RFPs, and collaborating with engineering, operations, and quality teams to secure optimal supply.

Onsite in Sedalia, MO; Springfield, MO; or Bentleyville, PA with up to 10% travel, you will build supplier relationships, qualify new parts, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the Process Flow

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of sourcing experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, esp. Excel and Word; advanced Excel skills (formulas, multiple worksheets, macros) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and supplier selection.
• Identify savings opportunities through spend data analysis.
• Manage RFP processes with stakeholders.
• Qualify new parts with suppliers and internal teams.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and inventory programs.
• Drive supplier development for chronic poor performers.
• Track performance and savings.
