Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Sourcing Engineer to support NA compressor sourcing. You will collaborate with engineering and suppliers to ensure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met while driving value across the organization.

Role requires strong negotiation and data analysis skills, along with experience in RFPs, supplier qualification, and cross-functional coordination to maximize supplier benefits for the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience of progressively responsible job-related experience.
• 3+ years' experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word, is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and supplier selection.
• Continuously look for new savings opportunities through data analysis.
• Lead RFP processes with stakeholders.
• Qualify new parts with suppliers and internal teams.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and inventory programs.
• Track performance and savings related to sourcing activities.
