Job summary

Amentum in Paducah, KY seeks a Subcontract Administrator to perform contracts duties as assigned by management, coordinating with disciplines to summarize bid proposals and manage subcontracts.

The role requires a BA/BS degree and 5+ years of related experience, proficiency with MS Office, and knowledge of FAR/DEAR regulations. DOE L clearance or ability to obtain is required or preferred. This is an on-site role in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typical experience ranges from 5–8 years.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expert understanding of federal and state policies and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Maintains sensitivity to and reports on instances of fraud, waste and abuse.
• DOE “L" clearance or ability to obtain a DOE “L" clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare list of contractors to which requests for proposals may be submitted and compile proposal packages.
• Review bid tabulations and modify the scope, terms and conditions of contracts as needed.
• Assist management in submitting, approving and closing contracts per FAR/DEAR and project procedures.
• Track status of contractual deliverables and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
