Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Subcontract Administrator in Paducah, KY to perform contracts activities and manage supplier relationships. You will prepare bid packages, review proposals, and modify contract scopes and terms while ensuring compliance with FAR, DEAR and project procedures.

The role involves coordinating with project teams, conducting pre-award conferences, and routing documents for signature. DOE L clearance or eligibility is required or pursued.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field with 5 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Typical experience ranges from 5-8 years.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expert understanding of federal and state policies and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exemplary attention to detail.
• Maintains sensitivity to and reports on fraud, waste and abuse.
• DOE “L” clearance or ability to obtain a DOE “L” clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare list of contractors to which proposals may be submitted and compile RFP packages.
• Review bid tabulations and modify contract scope, terms and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with project teams to summarize bid proposals and obtain supervisory approvals.
• Conduct pre-award conferences with contractors and clients to ensure common understanding of the subcontract.
• Award contracts via phone, telex, or letter and administer closes in accordance with FAR/DEAR.
• Prepare subcontract documents incorporating scope, terms, and changes as required.
• Track status of contractual deliverables and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• May relocate to the job site to negotiate variances and monitor contractor compliance.
