Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Subcontract Administrator to manage contract processes in Paducah, KY, coordinating bid proposals and ensuring compliance with FAR/DEAR and project procedures. You will prepare and review subcontract documents and interface with project teams and contractors.

The role emphasizes negotiation, documentation control, and tracking deliverables to meet contract terms. DOE L clearance or ability to obtain is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field and 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Expert understanding of federal and state policies and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Maintains sensitivity to and report on instances of fraud, waste and abuse.

Responsibilities

• Prepare list of contractors to which requests for proposals may be submitted and compile RFP packages.
• Review bid tabulations and modify the scope, terms and commercial terms of contracts.
• Coordinate with project, design, client and contractor to prepare subcontract documents.
• Interface with project management for approvals and signature routing.
• Monitor contractual deliverables and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Support on-site negotiations or coordination as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in Safety Work Groups.
