Job summary

Serco Inc. in Herndon, VA, is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to lead negotiations, award and administration of federal labor and materials subcontracts.

You will coordinate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules within a compliant framework and support proposals as part of a multi-disciplinary program team. The role requires US citizenship, a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, and 8+ years in federal contracting with FAR/DFAR.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in a federal contracting environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal contracting requirements (FAR/ DFAR) and contract law.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract negotiations concerning price, terms, and delivery schedule.
• Develop competitive RFPS for federal services and products of medium to high complexity.
• Award subcontracts of high complexity and document actions per standards.
• Provide effective subcontractor management ensuring compliance with price, terms and delivery.
• Close out subcontracts, including cost-reimbursable ones, timely.
