Job summary

Serco is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to join our Procurement team in a role that can be hybrid from our Herndon, VA headquarters or remote from anywhere in the U.S. You will lead negotiations, manage RFPs, and ensure compliance across predominant federal subcontracts.

The candidate will have extensive experience in US government contracting and FAR/DFAR knowledge. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and a minimum of eight years in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a federal contracting environment.
• Experience with US government procurement and FAR/DFAR knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet schedules.
• Ability to lead negotiations and ensure compliance with terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract negotiations for price, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Develop RFPs for federal services and products of medium to high complexity.
• Manage Requests for Proposal and subcontract/purchase order awards to meet timelines.
• Award subcontracts of high complexity and document actions per compliance standards.
• Provide subcontractor management ensuring compliance with negotiated price and delivery schedule.
• Close out subcontracts, including cost-reimbursable agreements, in a timely manner.
