Serco Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to join our Procurement team in a hybrid role (headquarters in Virginia or remote from anywhere in the U.S.).

You will lead negotiations, prepare RFPS for medium to high complexity work, and manage subcontract completions to ensure on-time awards and compliant execution. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in federal contracting, deep FAR/DFAR knowledge, and strong written and verbal communication skills to drive low-risk,

Qualifications

• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is required.
• Experience in US government procurement, preferably with a peer prime contractor supporting large labor subcontracts.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a federal contracting environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of FAR/DFAR and contract law.

Responsabilités

• Work with an experienced team leading and conducting subcontract negotiation, competitions, and administration of major subcontracts.
• Develop competitive and sole source RFPs for federal services and products of medium to high complexity.
• Lead a program team in subcontractor negotiations concerning price, terms, and delivery schedule.
• Award subcontracts of high complexity, price, and document actions per compliance standards.
• Provide effective subcontractor management ensuring compliance with negotiated price, terms and delivery schedule; escalate issues.
• Close out subcontracts, including cost-reimbursable subcontracts, timely.
