Job summary

Serco is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to join our Procurement team in a hybrid setup based at our Herndon, Virginia headquarters or remotely from anywhere in the U.S. You will lead negotiations, develop RFPS, manage major subcontracts, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR in a dynamic program environment.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• Experience in US government procurement, preferably with a peer prime contractor supporting large labor subcontracts.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a federal contracting environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of federal contracting requirements (FAR/DFAR) and contract law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a project team and meet pricing/ proposal and award schedules.
• Proven subcontractor/supplier management experience with compliant pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontract negotiations on price, terms, and delivery schedule.
• Develop competitive or sole source RFPs for federal services of medium to high complexity.
• Manage RFQ and RFP processes for labor and materials subcontracts.
• Award high-complexity subcontracts and document actions per compliance standards.
• Close out subcontracts, including cost-reimbursable agreements, in a timely manner.
