American Structurepoint, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Practice Leader to guide and grow our building structural engineering practice.

The role leads staff, projects, and growth, collaborating with executives and offices nationwide to secure new business and deliver high-quality structural work. The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of experience, a PE license, and a proven track record in project leadership, business development, and mentoring within a multidisciplinary design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; PE license.
• 15+ years structural engineering experience focused on building design.
• Proven ability to manage structural projects from proposal to construction administration.
• Experience developing contracts, scopes, fees, budgets, staffing plans, and proposals.
• Strong client relationship skills and ability to generate repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural staff, operations, projects, and growth.
• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan with leadership and BD staff.
• Build relationships with architects, contractors, developers, owners, and partners.
• Oversee project pursuits from client meetings to fee development and proposals.
• Direct management of projects through construction administration and closeout.
• Provide technical leadership for building structural projects.
• Collaborate across design centers to deliver high-quality projects.
• Review calculations, drawings, specifications for quality and coordination.
• Represent the firm in professional organizations and industry involvement.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead structural engineering staff.
