Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Approximately 15+ years of structural engineering experience focused on building design.
• Experience managing structural projects from proposal to construction administration.
• Experience developing contracts, scopes, fees, budgets, and staffing plans.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain client relationships for repeat business.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to grow a structural engineering practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead vertical structural engineering services in current and future markets.
• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan with leadership and business development.
• Build and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, developers, owners.
• Lead pursuits including client meetings, strategy, proposals, and negotiations.
• Oversee project management from proposal through construction administration.
• Provide technical leadership for building structural projects.
• Collaborate with BIM staff, PMs, and designers across centers.
• Review calculations and drawings for quality and compliance.
• Represent the firm in professional organizations and networks.
• Recruit and develop structural staff and teams.
