Job summary

American Structurepoint, Inc. is seeking an experienced Structural Practice Leader to guide and grow our vertical/building structural engineering practice.

The role focuses on staff leadership, operations, sales, and strategic expansion into new markets while maintaining close collaboration with executives and offices nationwide. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of structural engineering leadership, a PE license, and a track record of managing projects from proposal to construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• 15+ years of structural engineering experience in building design and structural systems.
• Proven track record leading structural engineering projects from proposal to construction administration.
• Experience developing contracts, scopes, fees, budgets, staffing plans and proposals.
• Strong client-relations ability with a history of repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Lead vertical structural engineering services across markets and oversee staff, operations, projects and growth.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans with leadership and business development teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with architects, contractors, developers, owners, and industry partners.
• Lead project pursuits including client meetings, strategy, contracts, fees, proposals and interviews.
• Oversee project delivery from proposal through construction administration and closeout.
• Provide technical leadership for building structural projects and collaborate across centers.
