Job summary

Navan is seeking a Sourcing Manager to stand up version 2.0 of the sourcing team. You will own the hotel sourcing lifecycle, negotiate contracts, and align with sales to drive growth across events. You will collaborate with planners, assess client briefs, optimize RFPs for accuracy, and continuously improve sourcing processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in end-to-end event management with sourcing focus.
• Experience coordinating vendors, budgets, and execution.
• Proven negotiation and contract review capabilities.
• Strong communication and executive presence with clients.
• Ability to manage high-volume, high-stakes projects calmly.

Responsibilities

• Own the full hotel sourcing process from kickoff and RFPs through contracts.
• Partner with event planners to meet client briefs and sourcing needs.
• Communicate options clearly and explain recommendations to clients.
• Negotiate hotel contracts aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve RFP accuracy and reduce time-to-source.
• Work with sales to identify opportunities and support revenue growth.
• Monitor the sourcing funnel for efficiency, growth, and blockers.
• Document best practices to elevate sourcing operations.
• Maintain feedback loops with partnerships on hotel performance.
