Job summary

Navan is seeking a Senior Director, Global Event Travel to lead the global event-air operation, spanning online and offline services. You will set strategy, operating models, and performance targets while unifying teams under one framework and expanding Navan’s platform adoption for complex, high-value travel programs.

You will partner with product, engineering, and field teams to deliver scalable tools and processes, driving excellence in service delivery and commercial outcomes across markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading distributed travel operations teams.
• Experience owning budgets, margins, forecasting, and pricing.
• Proven track record building product and operations partnerships.
• Data-driven approach to performance improvement and reporting.
• Deep knowledge of air travel, suppliers and markets.
• Familiarity with air booking tools and fulfillment systems.
• Skilled in leading through organizational and technology change.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global organization of directors, managers, and travel consultants.
• Dissolve silos and build a unified operating model leveraging Navan and Reed & Mackay assets.
• Own service quality, financial performance, workforce planning, and tech collaboration.
• Define the target operating model for Event Travel across online and offline channels.
• Structure a global service delivery function with consistent tools and local empowerment.
• Ensure the tech stack scales operations and enables strategic change.
• Provide candid, senior guidance to leadership about gaps and costs to fix them.
