Job summary

Navan Group is seeking a senior leader to oversee Event Travel operations globally, guiding a distributed team and unifying Navan and Reed & Mackay workflows to deliver scale and quality. The role demands strategic transformation and close partnership with product and engineering to optimize offline and online processes.

You will drive service quality, commercial performance, and workforce planning, building a unified operating model for Event Travel across markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing distributed travel operations teams across spans and layers.
• Experience owning operating budgets, gross margin, forecasting, pricing, capacity planning, and cost-to-serve.
• Track record building Product and Operations partnerships that improve automation, service, and profitability.
• Data-driven and disciplined about operating performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global organization of travel directors, managers, team leads, travel consultants, and coordinators with a high-performance culture.
• Dissolve silos and unify Navan and Reed & Mackay operations.
• Own service quality, commercial performance, workforce planning, and transformation with Product & Engineering.
• Define and implement the target operating model for Event Travel across global customers.
• Structure a global service delivery function with globally consistent tools and local decision making.
• Ensure the tech stack enables operational scale and act as a change agent for Navan tech.
• Provide a senior, candid voice to leadership about gaps and costs to fix them.
• Collaborate with Flights/Air Product & Engineering to build booking tools and capabilities.
