Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a senior Solutions Development Architect to lead cross-domain transformation initiatives within the SDA team. The role translates complex customer needs into scalable blueprints and multi-year roadmaps aligned with business outcomes.

You will drive CX RFP/RFI responses, collaborate with Service Sales and DAT, and work with post-sales delivery teams to ensure on-time, within-budget execution while mentoring the broader architectural community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in technical solutions architecture or engineering.
• Expert-level industry certification, such as CCIE or an equivalent credential.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency across at least two major Cisco technology domains.
• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-architecture technical engagement lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Architect multi-domain transformational solutions by translating complex customer business and technical requirements into comprehensive blueprints and journey maps.
• Hunt and accelerate lifecycle opportunities by partnering with Service Sales, Account Teams, and DAT to shape and close high-value deals.
• Lead CX RFP/RFI engagements as the designated CX Lead Architect on strategic responses.
• Bridge pre-sales solutioning to delivery by performing risk assessments and de-risking execution.
• Influence executive IT/OT decision-makers with industry expertise to validate Cisco roadmaps.
• Incubate emerging services and reusable IP with CXPM and GTM teams to strengthen market leadership.
• Mentor and elevate the technical community by sharing knowledge and leading transformation workshops.
