Job summary

Cisco is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineer to bridge Cisco innovation with customer objectives in the Enterprise sector. You will lead as the technical advisor, craft high‑value designs, and guide PoC activities to demonstrate outcomes.

You will collaborate with Account Executives to drive account plans, leverage Cisco’s portfolio, and stay ahead of technology trends in data center, security, and cloud.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in technical pre‑sales, systems engineering, or an industry-related technology environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on technical experience deploying, supporting, or architecting Cisco product portfolios or equivalent enterprise networking product portfolios.
• Foundational internetworking concepts including routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), switching architectures, and IP addressing/subnetting.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Technical Consulting: Act as the primary technical advisor, aligning Cisco’s broad portfolio with customer drivers to ensure long‑term outcomes.
• Architecting Solutions: Design, present, and demonstrate high‑value solutions from BoMs to PoCs, leading on the ground.
• Driving Demand through Education: Educate stakeholders on Cisco’s differentiators to build confidence in technology.
• Unified Account Planning: Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans leveraging Cisco tech and specialists.
• Continuous Innovation: Monitor evolving tech landscape (Data Center, Security, Cloud) to keep customers ahead.
