Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a senior Solutions Architect to lead consultative pre-sales architecture across multiple Cisco technology domains. You will translate customer requirements into architectural blueprints and long-term journey maps aligned to strategic outcomes.

You will partner with sales and delivery teams to shape and close high-value deals, lead RFP/RFI responses, and mentor engineers to elevate Cisco’s architectural standards across engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience in technical solutions architecture or engineering.
• Expert-level industry certification such as CCIE or equivalent.
• Demonstrated proficiency across at least two major Cisco technology domains.
• Proven track record managing complex, multi-architecture engagement lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Architect multi-domain transformational solutions by translating complex customer needs into blueprints and journey maps.
• Hunt and accelerate lifecycle opportunities with cross-functional teams to close high-value deals.
• Lead CX RFP/RFI engagements and articulate the value of Cisco technology and services.
• Bridge pre-sales to delivery by assessing risks and mapping transformation dependencies.
• Engage executive IT/OT leaders to discuss multi-technology architectures and Cisco roadmaps.
• Incubate services and reusable IP with CXPM and GTM teams to strengthen market leadership.
• Mentor architects and lead architectural transformation workshops.
