Job summary

Cisco is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineer to bridge innovation with customer objectives in the United States. You will lead technical pre-sales, architect high-value solutions from BoMs to PoCs, and educate stakeholders on Cisco differentiators, collaborating with Account Executives to expand the footprint across data center, security, and cloud domains.

Ideal candidates have extensive networking expertise, CCNP or higher, and a track record of influencing outcomes in hybrid/enterprise

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in technical pre-sales, systems engineering, or related tech environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on technical experience deploying or architecting Cisco product portfolios or similar enterprise networking stacks.
• Strong knowledge of internetworking concepts including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), switching architectures, and IP addressing/subnetting.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical advisor, aligning Cisco’s portfolio with customer drivers to enable long-term outcomes.
• Design, present, and demonstrate high-value solutions; lead BoMs and PoC activities as the technical lead.
• Educate stakeholders on Cisco differentiators and build confidence in technology through clear communication and troubleshooting.
• Partner with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans leveraging Cisco technology and support resources.
• Stay informed on evolving Data Center, Security, and Cloud technologies to keep customers ahead of the curve.
