Job summary

EMC Renewables is seeking a Business Development Lead to expand our utility-scale solar and BESS EPC business across the United States. You will build long-term client relationships, develop pursuit strategies, and work with engineering, estimating, and construction teams to win complex EPC projects.

The role reports to the VP of Preconstruction and involves leading opportunities through qualification, proposal, negotiations, and contract award, with travel up to 30% and active presence at

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in utility-scale renewable EPC business development.
• Experience building customer relationships and pursuing EPC contracts in solar/BESS.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Identify projects, RFPs, and assess fit and risks.
• Maintain Salesforce CRM with opportunity and forecast data.
• Support go-to-market strategy for utility-scale solar and storage EPC.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, engineering, contracting, and construction teams.
• Lead opportunities from qualification to award.
• Plan EMC's presence at industry conferences and events.
