Job summary

EMC Renewables is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support procurement and subcontracting for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS EPC projects across the United States. You will source materials, negotiate contracts, manage POs, and ensure timely delivery to keep projects on schedule and within budget.

You will collaborate with Preconstruction, Engineering, Project Management, Construction and Finance to develop strategies that maximize value while maintaining quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 5 years procurement experience in renewable energy, EPC, or related industry.
• Experience negotiating commercial contracts and purchase agreements.
• Knowledge of procurement for electrical, civil, mechanical, and construction materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project-specific procurement strategies aligned with schedules and budgets.
• Prepare RFQs and RFPs for equipment, materials, and subcontracted services.
• Solicit and evaluate supplier quotations to identify best solutions.
• Lead commercial bid evaluations and maintain Project Purchasing Plans.
• Coordinate internal approvals and manage purchase orders and contract documentation.
