Job summary

Transamerica seeks a ServiceNow Platform Strategist to shape enterprise strategy, governance, and the platform roadmap. You will partner with leaders across business and IT to align investments with priorities, architecture standards, and regulatory needs.

The role focuses on operational excellence, resilience, and measurable outcomes, enabling AI and automation while guiding enterprise-wide platform adoption and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven+ years in technology strategy, architecture, consulting, service management, technology operations, or platform delivery.
• Broad knowledge across cloud, infrastructure, applications, data, networks, and workforce technologies.
• Strong understanding of architecture principles and enterprise technology strategy.
• Ability to translate complex tech info into clear recommendations and solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences.
• Strong planning, analytical, integrative, and strategic-thinking skills.
• Ability to coach others on technologies and strategies and influence decisions across groups.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the ServiceNow strategy, roadmap, governance model, and operating framework.
• Align platform investments with business priorities, tech strategy, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Assess emerging capabilities to recommend future-state opportunities and priorities.
• Drive platform adoption and process standardization across service management, operations, and workflows.
• Partner with teams to improve service stability, automation, and customer experiences.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality and reduce operational risk.
• Guide adoption of ServiceNow AI, intelligent automation, and workflow capabilities.
• Develop business cases and value measures linking investments to outcomes.
