Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Strategic Sales Development Representative to join the Platform Account Development team. You will own the early sales motion by engaging merchants through high-volume outreach to uncover needs and qualify interest in DoorDash Platform solutions such as Online Ordering.

You will work with Account Development partners to advance pipeline, tailor messaging, and learn solution-selling fundamentals while traveling for in-person trainings and events as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in high-volume outbound outreach or sales development.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with merchant engagement experience.
• Proactive, self-directed approach to problem solving and work management.
• Creativity in outreach and messaging that sparks interest and opens doors.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and qualify high-potential merchants and key decision makers across assigned accounts.
• Conduct high-volume outbound outreach through calls, email, and other channels to surface interest in DoorDash solutions.
• Partner with Account Development to advance qualified opportunities and move expansion efforts forward.
• Tailor messaging and discovery based on merchant needs and solution fit.
