J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Dublin, OH is seeking a Sales Development Manager to drive prospecting, build relationships with potential clients, and shepherd opportunities from initial contact to contract.

You will define strategies, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure successful transitions to account management while meeting growth targets in North American truckload markets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2-3 years of Sales/Account Management or relevant experience, and/or military equivalent with at least 1 year NA Truckload experience.
• Willingness to travel to local customer sites with occasional overnight travel.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR per JB Hunt standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation via data insights and sales tools to drive new business.
• Meet with prospects to discuss opportunities, understand needs, and develop proposals.
• Develop account strategy for maintenance and growth; coordinate with internal teams.
• Coordinate with customers to implement solutions and drive successful kick-offs.
• Set expectations during implementation and monitor KPI, revenue quality, and contract terms.
