Job summary

Emerson's Power & Water Solutions Renewables team is seeking a sales professional to own and grow a portfolio of utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and wind opportunities across the United States. You will lead the qualification, engagement, and pursuit of new accounts, delivering technical demos and tailored solutions to move deals forward.

The role requires 3+ years in renewables or industrial automation, willingness to travel up to 75%, and the ability to hold credible technical and commercial

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, or related technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience
• Minimum 3 years in renewable energy, power generation, or industrial automation
• Willingness to travel up to 75%
• US work authorization (no sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by mapping the market and engaging potential customers
• Collaborate with existing customers to uncover new projects where Emerson PWS solutions deliver value
• Develop competitive strategies with pricing recommendations and negotiations
• Deliver technical presentations and demos to showcase new products and services
• Recommend tailored technology and service solutions to meet customer requirements
• Stay informed on industry trends and share updates with PWS management
• Represent Emerson at professional meetings, trade shows, and conferences
• Achieve annual bookings and margin objectives within your territory
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts in the CRM
