Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking a Strategic Pursuit Specialist for its APD Practice to lead proposal efforts for transportation projects. You will guide cross‑functional teams of designers and contractors to craft compelling, compliant proposals that meet client objectives.

You will also drive business development by representing the firm at industry events and producing marketing materials that showcase our APD capabilities and track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or related field.
• Experience with RFPs and proposal processes.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong collaboration with marketing, design, and sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit strategies for transportation infrastructure proposals.
• Coordinate with marketing coordinators on submissions and color reviews.
• Oversee multiple pursuits across regional offices and tight timelines.
• Ensure proposals comply with QA/QMS standards and branding guidelines.
• Collaborate with Creative Services to produce compelling visuals for proposals.
• Mentor and provide feedback to regional marketing staff and coordinators.
